Today, Los Angeles County had less than half of yesterday’s record setting high for most new confirmed cases in one day with a more reasonable 1038 additions to its total. New hospitalizations was up only from eighty-one to eighty-two. New deaths increased 12.5% from thirty-two yesterday to thirty-six.
Inside the hospitals, the current number of COVID-19 patients increased just from 1,420 to 1,429. The number of patients currently being treated in the ICU increased 4.2% from 398 to 414. The number of patients on ventilators increased very slightly from 312 to 314.
