Today, Los Angeles County had 1,178 more new confirmed cases than the total announced yesterday. There were seventy-five new hospitalizations and fifty-two new deaths which are both more typical for those numbers than Monday.

The number of COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized went back up from 1,399 to 1,453 today, an increase of 3.9%. The number of patients currently being treated in the ICU went up from 420 to 421 while those on ventilators increased 8.8% from 294 to 320.
