Today, Los Angeles County had 995 more new confirmed cases than the total announced yesterday. This is a decrease of 35.7% but please note that the numbers reported are usually lowest on Sundays. New hospitalizations dropped by 91.1% from seventy-nine down to just seven. New deaths dropped by 70.7% from fifty-eight back down to seventeen.

Inside the hospitals, the current number of COVID-19 patients decreased by 1.0% from 1,397 down to 1,383. The number of patients currently being treated in the ICU also went down by 1.0% from 419 to 415. The number of patients on ventilators dropped back down by 5.5% from 293 to 277.
